Students in Grades 4-8 complete activities to help them learn Internet Safety.

The activities in this unit address:

 cyberbullying  nettiquite  virus protection
 online privacy concerns copyright
 plagarism
 passwords  reporting  online predators

Parents and Guardians:
These days, most of our children spend several hours each day on some sort of device connected to the Internet. That is why I feel that it is so important to educate them about Internet Safety and what to do if the witness any sort of inappropriate online behavior.

Our discussions in class may have brought up many additional questions. I was able to answer many in class but your child may wish to discuss these topics more with you at home.

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss our lesson or if you have any questions of your own at  edifazio@hfsli.org.

Also, please take a moment to look at the resources below to find ways to keep your family safe online
