Mrs. Jeanmarie Becker, Assistant Principal

Jeanmarie Becker is in her second year as Assistant Principal for Holy Family School. Mrs. Becker’s first year at Holy Family School she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math and 7th grade religion. Prior to coming to Holy Family School, Mrs. Becker taught for 14 years at St. Raymond’s School in East Rockaway. There, Mrs. Becker  started out teaching part-time as a Nursery School teacher, then a few years later moved up to the junior high level where she taught 7th and 8th grade Math and Religion, and 8th grade Social Studies.


In the fall of 2013 Mrs. Becker went back to school to earn a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision, and graduated from Fordham University in May 2015.  She fulfilled her graduate internship under the guidance and tutelage of Mrs. Doherty during her first year at Holy Family School.  Mrs. Becker felt extremely blessed to have the opportunity to do her graduate internship with Mrs. Doherty, who exemplifies the role of a Catholic leader. 


Mrs. Becker attended St. Mary School in East Islip, St. Raymond School in East Rockaway, Maria Regina High School, CW Post, Long Island University and Fordham University.


Prior to teaching Mrs. Becker coached men’s and women’s Division II volleyball for Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois. After coaching college volleyball for 5 years, she then coached Varsity volleyball for Lynbrook High School for 9 years.


The Lord has blessed Mrs. Becker with a wonderful and loving family, her husband of 27 years and 3 sons.  Mrs. Becker’s favorite things to do are to spend quality time with family, taking long walks, and sitting on the boardwalk looking out at the ocean.
