Teacher Information

Where are you from? 
I grew up in East Meadow, but I attended Maria Regina Elementary School in Seaford. I then moved on to Kellenberg Memorial High School. After graduating from Kellenberg, I was asked to be a part of the cheerleading coaching staff. I have been coaching cheerleading at Kellenberg since 2010. I truly know the meaning of family and faith when I step through the doors of Kellenberg, and now Holy Family School.

What is your education?
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Adelphi University, but I felt like something was missing and I wasn't truly happy! I then received a job as a teacher's assistant at St. Joseph's Elementary School in Garden City. I knew that teaching was my true passion. I went back to Adelphi University to receive my double Master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. Going back for my Masters in Education was the best decision I have ever made!

How long have you been a teacher:
I have been teaching Holy Family School since 2017. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade and 4th Grade. 

Favorite Saint?
My favorite Saint is St. Sebastian, the patron saint of athletes. 

Favorite Verse?
My favorite verse is “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” - Philippians 4:13

What can students look forward to when they join your class?
This year, you will be learning many new and exciting things! My wish for you is that you see the light in this world, in yourself and in others. I see the light in you. Compliment others, and always be proud of your accomplishments. I am proud of you. Believe in yourself, for you are stronger than you know. I believe in you. Always try your best. Ask if you need help and trust that others will help you. I will help you. Fill your heart with laughter and smile often. I love to see you smile. You are a unique, special and amazing child. There will never be another you! I appreciate you. Dream, believe, wonder, inspire, love, nurture, and always listen.
 

Message to Parents
I am so excited to be starting a new school year with your child! We will be learning many new and exciting things this year. The safety and comfort of your child is my number one priority. Your child will be growing socially, emotionally and academically, while also discovering the magnificent world of learning. I personally know how important it is to incorporate faith into a child's education. Being able to share my knowledge and faith with your children is such a gift. I am looking forward to instilling the importance of knowledge, faith and family into your children at Holy Family School.
