Ms. Maria, our Nursery teacher volunteer, visited the fourth grades during Art class. She showed off her beautiful Native American dolls and talked about their clothing and their culture. The children all enjoyed her visit. Fourth grade has been learning about Native American culture all month long, including making tunics in art class. Ms. Maria even offered to bring in her plain white canvas teepee for the fourth grade children to paint! We will be planning our designs soon. How exciting! Thank you Ms. Maria!
