"Making a difference, one child at a time."
Hello! My name is Colleen Mosley, and I am so
excited to be the School Counselor at Holy Family
School. I am also the Director of Religious Education here at Holy Family Parish. I am originally from Long Island and attended Babylon Schools. I graduated from Molloy College, and after many years in the workforce, I found that I was not fulfilled professionally. I dug deep, and through self-exploration, decided to go back to school, and get my master’s degree. Through my exploration, I realized that I wanted to be that person I didn’t have growing up. I wanted to be a positive role model for kids, and there for them when they needed something. In 2016, I received my master’s in education in school counseling.
I loved teaching coping skills to the students and community in Virginia. However, being here now, and reminding our students that Jesus is our biggest tool in our toolbox is beyond a privilege. I am so fortunate to be here, and if you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out.
I will be serving in my School Counseling role here at Holy Family School primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I will be teaching social and emotional learning classes to all grade levels, and I will also be available for small groups and individual sessions. Again, if you have any questions, please reach out. I look forward to a wonderful school year with you!
